Mauricia Carr is the Client Intake Specialist at Holthe Immigration Law.
She is a Fellow with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK), Certified Fraud Examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE, USA) and a candidate with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). She also holds First Class Honors in B.Sc Accounting from The University of the West Indies, CaveHill Campus.
She has over 13 years of experience combined in Internal and External auditing. Her Internal Audit experience was gained at the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Commission, an international governmental organization and her work in External audit time was spent at the Big Four Accounting firm KPMG Eastern Caribbean.
Apart from her interests in Accounting and Auditing, Mauricia is also an Online Facilitator with The University of the West Indies Open Campus lecturing in Fraud Examination, Financial Accounting and Auditing courses.
Mauricia obtained her Permanent Resident status in 2019 and during the preparation of her application to present she continues to champion the cause in assisting as many persons as possible to realize their migration dreams. It is during this time her passion for Immigration Law blossomed and led her to join the team at Hothe Immigration Law.
She is from the beautiful multi-island state of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the ‘Jewels of the Caribbean’, however, she is currently living in the Cayman Islands before her family permanently settles in Canada. When she is not punching her calculator or preparing financial statements you can find her binge-watching the latest Netflix series, on the beach or traveling with friends and family.
