How it works?

1. Connect for a Consultation
Schedule a Zoom or MS Teams call with one of our Canadian Immigration Lawyers. Provide details or documents pertinent to your situation in an Intake Form before you connect, and get straight to the point on the call. A short 25 or 50-minute consultation can make all the difference in understanding the options available to you and in shaping your future in Canada.
2. Retain HIL for a collaborative review
If you choose to retain HIL to work collaboratively with you on your file, you will sign a Legal Services Agreement and submit your legal fees online.
3. Get clear guidance and support all the way through
Once you retain HIL, we will connect for the onboarding call. You’ll receive access to our instructions, shared folder, and we’ll make a step-by-step plan for submitting your application.
4. Get your first drafts and review them with your Lawyer
Once you have a plan and a clear understanding of the process, you can start doing the technical work of collecting your documents and entering your information into the forms. At the same time, we do the legal work to spot issues and help you address them. Our lawyers work directly with you. No middle people. Importantly, you keep full control of your immigration application. Only you will have access to your account, and it is you who controls how fast the application will be submitted.
5. Review and rework until your application is perfected
We’ll review the application from A to Z together with you on a call. Often, we connect multiple times to make sure the file is as good as it can be.
6. Submit, track, and sleep easy at night
We don’t submit an application until, after multiple reviews, we are confident that we’ve addressed all IRCC requirements. You retain control over your matter during and after submission.

Instead, we provide you with a letter confirming that we are lawyers who you hired to review your application and that IRCC should communicate with you directly.
